Summary
Sigma 33 Cruiser with Yanmar 3GM30F inboard diesel engine. This boat is priced to sell and to reflect the fact that the boat has not been used for the last 5 years. However there are some excellent features including up to date electronics and a very good suit of Goacher sails. Below decks is in good condition with recent upholstery. Batteries replaced in 2024.
Mechanical
Vessel is powered by an inboard diesel Yanmar 3GM30F. This is unusual as it is normally an 18hp Volvo that was offered. The good point of the 3GM30F is that it has a heat exchanger so if hot water wants to be added this is possible. The engine is housed beneath the companionway allowing easy access. As with all Sigma yachts the start panel is in the cockpit locker. The engine turns with no issues.
Electrical
Bank of 4x12V batteries. The engine start battery and one of the leisure were replaced in 2024. The other bank are of an unknown age. 12V switch panel at chart table which looks fairly recent. Rotary style isolator.
Rigging
Deck stepped aluminium spars with stainless steel standing rigging. Terylene running rigging led aft to cockpit. We believe that the rigging was replaced in 2003 and will need to be inspected.
The winches are Lewmar ST40 sheet winches and ST34 halyard winches.
Sails include a Goacher roller furling genoa with luff sock and a Goacher mainsail with cover. There are spare main and spare genoa sails.
Navigation
Well equipped in Navigation aids including Smart Chart GPS plotters and Tack-tick wind speed/depth instruments.
Recent additions look to be:
- Raymarine i60 Wind speed/direction
- Raymarine i60 log speed
- Raymarine i60 Depth
- Raymarine A70 colour plotter
Deck
- Anchor with chain and warp
- Warps and fenders
- Boathook
- Boarding ladder
Safety
- Electric bilge pump
- Fire extinguishers
- Gibbs safety line/harness
- 4x Life jackets
- Horse shoe buoy
- Life sling
- MOB recovery
Canvas
- Sail cover
- Luff sock
- Sprayhood
Miscellaneous
- Fusion stereo system
- Clock & Barometer
- Halyard bags
Accommodation
Below decks can sleep 5 persons in comfort. There is a double in the forepeak, 2 singles in the saloon and a quarter berth aft on starboard side. The starboard saloon berth can be made into a double but the infill cushion is not at hand. Chart table on starboard side with chart storage. 12V switch panels, electronic navigation aids and chart light.
Opposite the chart table is the galley. The oven has been removed and replaced with a front opening fridge. All the gas pipes and the gas locker are intact and reverting to having an oven would not be difficult. There is a sink and a top loading cool box.
Between the saloon and the fore cabin is the heads compartment with sea toilet and sink. There is a hanging locker opposite.
Construction
GRP constructed yacht with fin keel and tiller steering. Large cockpit with locker storage to Port. Wide side decks with easy access forward. Perspex wash boards let in plentiful light.
Under water areas have been epoxied in 1997. Boat has been in the water since 2018.
