The Pacific Seacraft is a highly desirable brand of yacht, made for the discerning sailor who wanted sailing performance, comfort and quality construction in equal measure. This Seacraft 32 Pilothouse is an excellent example of this and those who view will be both smitten and delighted with her looks, layout, and practicalities.
She is cutter rigged and a joy to sail single handed. Her standing rigging is was replaced in 2021, her engine in 2018 and her tan sails in 2011. She comes well equipped for offshore cruising and will suit a cruising couple looking to downsize or embark on new adventures.
The vessel was re-engined in 2018 with a Nanni N4.38, 4-cylinder diesel. She has completed 457 hours since then and has just been serviced ready for the new season. The engine is midmounted and accessed through the saloon floor. The bay is immaculate, and everything is to hand for servicing and daily checks. Reduction gearbox driving a stainless-steel shaft and 3-bladed bronze propeller. She has 2 stainless steel fuel tanks holding a total of 362 litres. This gives a range of 750 miles under engine at 5.5 knots.
12/220V systems on board with bank of 5 batteries. 4x12V are domestic and a single 12V battery is for engine starting. These were all replaced in 2022. 12/240V switch panel with clearly labelled selector switches. Batteries are recharged via the engine alternator when under power, battery charger when attached to shore power and by either wind or solar when out at sea. There is a Sterling 800W inverter suitable for charging electronic devices.
Cutter rigged sail plan with painted deck stepped aluminium mast. The mast top and radar reflector are painted bright orange for increased visibility in emergency conditions. There are mast steps allowing a solo sailor to free trapped rigging or carry out repairs to mast head lights or antenna. There is an emergency VHF antenna and set of rigging cutters should the need arise.
Stainless steel standing rigging replaced in 2021. All running rigging is terylene braid on braid and was renewed in 2022. All lines led aft to helm for ease when single handed.
