Summary
'Thin Lizzy' is an immaculate example of the Mystery 30. She was ordered at the London Boat Show of 2009, displayed as a Link 30 at the Southampton Boat Show of the same year and handed over to her present owners in the Spring of 2010. Built by Cornish Crabbers to a David Thomas design.
Her present custodians have used her mainly on the East Coast and have successfully taken part in competitive racing events at local and North east level. She is very well equipped and has a very good suit of barely used Goacher sails. Her original North sails are available and in a serviceable condition.
Inboard Yanmar 2YM15 diesel, folding propeller and decent navigation package.
4 comfortable berths, separate heads and galley with gas hob, grill and pressurised fresh water.
Vessel is powered by a reliable and economical Yanmar 2YM15 inboard diesel engine. This 2 cylinder, 15hp unit has completed 439 serviced hours. Her most recent was in February 2024. Engine is situated beneath the companionway steps with easy access for daily checks and maintenance. The rear of the engine and the shaft can be accessed via the cockpit locker. Engine start panel behind a protective perspex screen. Single lever engine control. Reduction gearbox driving stainless steel shaft and 2-bladed folding propeller.
12/240V systems on board with fused selector switches. 2x12V batteries providing engine start and domestic power. Batteries recharged via engine alternator, solar panel, or onboard battery charger. There is a battery monitor fitted. Shore power cable.

Fractional rigged cruiser racer with deck stepped aluminum spars by Selden. Twin spreader rig with dyform stainless steel standing rigging. Running rigging is braid on braid with the majority led aft to cockpit.
Mainsheet track in cockpit. Genoa sheet tracks mounted on coachroof.
Single line reefing (2 reefs) for mainsail and Selden Furlex 100S roller furling system for the genoa. There is a Selden retractable bowsprit with the associated sheets. Full spinnaker rigging including carbon pole. All winches are by lewmar with 2x ST mounted either side of companionway. Lewmar spinnaker halyard winches either side of cockpit. Spinlock clutches.

Below decks is dry and comfortable. There are 4 berths with a double in the bow and two singles in the saloon. The Interior moulding is easy clean white gelcoat and the interior hull is finished in smart teak slats. High density foam on all berths covered in smart blue fabric. Teak and holly flooring adds a touch of class.
Galley on starboard side with 2-burner gas hob with grill. Stainless steel sink with pressurised fresh water. Good preparation areas and hull mounted storage solutions for crockery.
Opposite the galley is the enclosed heads compartment with chemical toilet and sink with pressurised fresh water. There is a removeable table which can be utilised in the cockpit.
12V lighting. Opening ports for light and ventilation. FM Radio/CD Player with speakers.
GRP constructed cruiser racer built by Cornish Crabbers in 2009. Under water areas gel shielded as a protective measure at time of build. Hull antifouled in February 2024. Ultrasonic system installed to discourage marine growth.
White high gloss topsides and superstructure. Stainless steel bow and stern rails. Alloy stem head fitting with roller. Self bailing anchor locker with securing lid. Flush foredeck adds safety to crew members when competing. Large cockpit with storage lockers at transom and port and starboard of tiller. Varnished tiller with Spinlock extension. Removable GRP seats.
