Owner's Comments

I’ve owned “Virago” for 6 years and have thoroughly enjoyed racing and cruising her on the south coast of England, northern France, Isles of Scilly, Channel Islands etc. Many systems have been upgraded during the course of my ownership including deck hardware, autopilot and electronics and much refurbishment work has been carried out to keep her in good shape.

Great success has been had on the race track, doublehanded and singlehanded. With a solid lead fin keel she rates well under IRC and also has a fantastic ballast ratio which keeps her on her feet and keeps her going well upwind without the extra righting moment of a full crew on the rail. Incredibly well-mannered and forgiving, she is equally well suited to cruising or racing.
