Summary

Very nice example of the Etap 23. Not to be confused with the 23i, this is the lifting keel version that was classed as 'Unsinkable'. She is in great condition both above and below decks. Ideal first boat or for those wishing to downsize. Comes complete with a twin axle road trailer and recently serviced 8hp Yamaha outboard engine.

Vessel powered by a 2-stroke, Yamaha 8hp outboard engine.
engine serviced in October 2024.
Engine is situated in a well at the rear of the cockpit.

Electrical

Bank of 2X12V batteries providing engine start and domestic power.
The batteries are recharged by the onboard solar charger.

Rigging

Deck stepped fractional rigged mast with the mast foot situated in a tabernacle. This allows the mast to be stepped easily by two persons.
Stainless steel standing rigging was partially renewed in 2018.
Braid on braid running rigging brought back to the helm.
Slab reefing mainsail mounted within a lazy jack bag on boom.
Roller furling headsail with UV strip.

Below decks is surprisingly roomy for her length. She is clean and comfortable with recently reupholstered berth cushions.
Headroom is obviously not of a premium but once settled below is not an issue.
Two good sized berths to port and starboard with plentiful storage aft.
Galley on starboard side with gas fuelled two burner hob. Sink with hand pumped water.
Interchangeable saloon table can be used in the cockpit.
In the bow is a two berth cabin. There is a sea toilet here with wooden lid.
Synthetic teak sole adds warmth
