Summary
Built in 1976 by Camper and Nicholson, “go to” to yard of that era and renowned for their attention to detail, she is a thorough-bred, well-mannered and a boat to be proud of. Sprout was fitted with all the optional equipment including Teak dressed cockpit seating, washboards, toe and grab rails, textured deck with additional secure footing at the mast.
Having travelled from the West Indies, she was bought by the current owner in 2005. After giving years of pleasure, this stiff, comfortable, excellent heavy weather ocean cruiser was comprehensively refitted to a very high standard in the autumn of 2015/16. This included attention to even the minor items such as skin fittings, bilge pumps and even switches. All lines have been led back to the cockpit for easy, secure and safe short handed sailing. The intention had been to sail to warmer climes. Regrettably family circumstances changed dramatically and Sprout has been laid up, but with regular maintenance, since Spring 2016.
Fully equipped, and in really great condition, this beautiful cruiser is now ready and raring to go wherever your fancy takes you.
